Darkest Days

My old school brain goes back to a time when a team would be very run heavy until they got their pass game sorted out.
We would have been a fine candidate for that today.

Fox ball was run the ball and stop the run. Keep high powered offenses off the field.
It seemed early that we were popping off 5 yds a clip right up the middle.

But, we abandoned that pretty quickly

 

The difference is, this team isn't even competitive. The 1-15 Panthers lost by less than 10 points in most cases.

 

A play action shot on first down intercepted was a fitting way to start the season.


That's specifically been a Tepper thing, by the way. Remember him hectoring Norv about doing more 1st down passing?
