    He looks better than any corner we have on the roster right now. It makes too much sense, so Hurney probably won't do it.

    This is what the Panther front office was waiting for. Maybe not specifically Butler, but they were waiting for a CB better that what is currently out there (Hanson,Allen,Sheppard) would get cut before Sunday's game. This is why we didn't sign a corner Sunday or Monday. We'll def pick him up, we even have an open spot on the roster for him.
    Or maybe Im giving Hurney too much credit!

    Patriots picked up Antwaun Molden off waivers last week and liked him better. Butler was too small to handle big receivers and was a nickel back at best. Guess we could have had Molden too.

    Molden is pretty terrible in man coverage, but he could make a nice safety.
