spiderman was great, Daredevil was a piece of dirt. They really could have made the movie good but they tried to rush getting into character roles AND story into an hour and 40 mins... didn't work.

I haven't seen it yet but I was a big comic book fan myself. Would a comic book fan like it? I figured most that hated it probably didn't understand the story, but I could be wrong.

story was simple enuf that is why. twas lame. they coulda improved it a bit with better lines for the main character, but no. twas too predictable and too simple.

it was comic book style alright. but not same as spidey. no.

you might like it. affleck needs matt damon for him to look good, i think.
    ;)

obtw, silent bob was in the movie. just one scene, but pretty cool.

I thought the movie was ok.. It surely wasn't no spiderman.. It was darker and I thought it was cool that Daredevil actually killed people.. just not as well written of a movie as it could have been.. Although the movie stays true to form of the comic book series... always in Spidermans shadow and never quite as good as the good old web slinger.. oh did i mention jennifer G. was smoking?? oh then Jennifer is somking!!!! damn!!

I read in the Observer that Kevin Smith was going to direct it originally but then the executive producer asked, "Does he have to be blind?" Needless to say Smith knew he had to leave the project after that. A seeing Matt Murdock is like Wolverine with no claws.

Daredevil is not half the movie Spider-Man was. Ben Affleck was horribly miscast in this role. Anyone that says Keanu Reeves is wooden needs to look at Affleck.

Kind of funny, after the movie, my wife said Daredevil = Batman...just a different costume.
