    Actually, she is the reason I wont go see this... other than gay Ben Affleck....

    She's a cute girl and all, but she is about as right for that role as I am to play her character on Alias.

    Elektra was the daughter of a Greek Ambassador. She became an assassin (& more...) after an interesting turn of events that I'll save for the movie. The movie character looks like she'll be the R rated version of Britney Spears. That's not what Elektra is/was about. I recommend the Elektra:Assasin mini-series for those interested. I picked it up and read it overa decade ago, but it shouldnt be too hard to find. It's edgy, gory, sexy, violent, and definitely not intended for kids.

    I missed the preview on Sunday, but if the Alias chick is playing Elektra, then I don't see it immediately either. I always imagined Elektra as a flat-out scorcher. Not cute, but flat out I-know-you'll-kill-me-but-I-still-want-to-screw you anyway hot.

    The original Elektra run in Daredevil was pretty good too - although bringing her back from the dead may have been a bit much. But that's the way Superheroes are. They don't die.
