Danny Snyder

Many of you know I just started a new job in August...what exactly does this have to do with Danny Snide?
Well, the little maget just joined the board of my employer, McLeodUSA, Inc.
Now, I really like the company and the direction things are going, but with this news yesterday...I updated my resume! Then again, Danny has been known to overpay for talent, short term?
Hmmm? $$$

 

He didn't get his money for what he knows about football.


How about this: The business I now work for does ALL the printing for the Bucs. As a matter of fact, the owner played a huge hand in landing the Bucs in Tampa as an expansion team, and is tight tight with the organization. Even the last SB that was in town was due to a large portion of his work.

So what do I do? I wear my Panther colors proudly, probably 3 to 4 days a week.

 

UPDATE:

Thanks to Mr. Snyder our casual day for tomorrow has been canceled. Danny Snyd will be visiting us tomorrow in Cedar Rapids and I'll get to meet him.
Not sure how I'll react, maybe I shouldn't go to work tomorrow?

 

Go to work McFly and tell him that Arrington, Gardner, and Bailey suck so bad that they should be traded to the Panthers for 7th rounders Hanibal Navies and Sean Gilbert. Tell him the Skins D hasn't been the same since Gilbert left.

OH! And you'll need to pay my salary with yearly 5% (that's not much) increases after he has me removed from the premises and beaten w/ a paper weight.

Actually, I've met Arrington. He's a pretty cool dude!

 

See, Scholl, you went too far. Snyder will never let go of Arrington, but you might have conviced him about Gilbert.

 

Cedar Rapids? Geez...I used to go there after Aegon bought Transamerica..."to put the systems together".

Next thing you know, he'll be bringing in Spurrier to help your offense...

 

If you ever return to CR, let me know ahead of time. I'll take you on the grand tour of Corn, Beans, Beef, Hogs...and I'd mention hooking you up with chicks, but that would be covered with the Beef and Hogs!
Snyd, came in the office and went directly to the executive suites. He didn't mingle a bit.
