Damn, Damn

If I recall correctly metro said he was a UNC when he was a kid. I'm sure he wanted to play baseball at UNC but they dissed him and never recruited him. I guess he had to settle for UNCC and he's had a UNC grudge ever since.

Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

 

thats actually almost partly accurate, I hate to admit. My dislike of UNC CH kind of evolved. I used to love them and DID want to go there as a kid (they in fact came to see me play in HS but I was awful that night), but after many scholarship offers, UNC was not one of them (thank god now). That was not where it started though. It started at UNCC when we had a couple of players on our team that actually would wear UNC CH shit to practice, and myself and coaches would have to tell them to take it off. One of these guys was my roommate and him and another guy would root for UNC over UNCC (like brain) and I would lose it that they would pull for a school over their OWN! Anyway we pounded UNC my freshman year, and they never played us again. I lost all respect for UNC after that. Basebal is different than hoops, everyone plays each other because of budgets, and travel, etc. we played USC every year twice, State, Wake, etc. So I don't have problems with them, in fact I root for them. But UNC is king of avoiding a challenge in every sport in state and its downright arrogant. Plus I have never met a humble UNC grad. My 2 best freinds went to UNC and left different arrogant people. UNC breeds an arrongance that Chapel Hill is superior to everything and they look down on everyone else like nowhere else is credible. That is why I hate UNC.
