    if I wanted to flame, I would just say that when Charlotte has a down year, we go 13-16...................NOT 8-20. :rolleyes:

    hey numbnuts, I know facts are irrelevant at tbr, but last time the ACC played us State lost by 25.

    Excuse me, Metro... I think you have some Lutz on your chin.

    The ACC does a pretty good job of policing itself, especially in basketball. The mid eighties mess at MD and the Valvano years at NCSU is somewhere the conference and it's schools don't want to revisit.

    Wouldn't be so bad, but your up year would be 16-13.

    If you weren't flaming you would link to some evidence or something other than rehashing something that was proved to be the opposite of what you started all of this about to begin with.

    Geesh, you really do pull the median IQ score of the board down don't you?

    The schools in the ACC and the Conference office have Compliance Officers and other internal controls that generally prevent the problems now before they happen. See the investigations into Duke and UNC for example. Also, in comparison to, say the SEC, if issues with a booster come up in the recruiting process the schools, even those that are in competion for the recruit, will report to each other to keep the problem from becoming an infraction. In the SEC, opposing schools love to have the problem develop and then report to the NCAA.

    The ACC is, generally, proactive instead of reactive and it helps to keep the problems down.
