I didn't say that. I said they were just alike, not that Bledsoe isn't any better. I'm talking qualitative, not quantitative.

And it's $80 mil more, not $80 mil. And it's a pipedream. And not a concern. Could have answered the Weinke question too. :p

  2. If we could trade one of SM's 8th round draft choices for Bledsoe I'd consider it.

as my venezuelan chica says: jajajajaja!

Okay: let's re-evaluate this. Steve Spurrier's taste in quarterbacks considered, anyone want him now?

I guess the funny thing in all this is just a few days ago, a few local self procalimed experts said nobody in the NFL would want Craig. (Or something to that effect) - hmmm well now we know that we can't be perfect all the time.

    Congrats Craig -

Nah, the only thing I ever really liked about Steve Sp. and the remote thought of him coming here before was the fact that, at least in college, he was not afraid to bench a starting QB when he sucked.

You know me and QBs... ;) - I can't think of a year in Panther football other than maybe '96 where I thought our starting QB should be on the bench if not for health issues then for just sucking over a period of time.

Don't be bitter. No one ever proclaimed anything other than knowing more than you. I, myself, if you actually feel like looking rather than making crap up, talked about his play rather than his future.
As it is, you're saying he needs a shot at starting and even Spurrier only considers him a 3rd, if he makes it at all.

    Paranoid? pot kettle black.

Sorry Sandy. If anyone has the market cornered on defensiveness, it's you.

For the record, I said he doesn't have NFL level skill. He doesn't. And if Spurrier ever gets Chicago to let go of Shane, he won't make this team.

That's my opinion, and it's less than humble.
