Gardner was also a VERY inexpensive gamble and certainly one worth taking. The only way you consider MeShawn a gamble is with bhis attitude and well now his cap figure.

    It is backloaded:

3.5 per is 14 million total.

    8 million first 2 years.

    5 million bonus.
    1 mill first year
    2 mill second year = 8 million.

Next 2 years high salary. Could cut after 2 years and not likely have dead money.

It's alot - but still alot less than moose, and the cap was 20% less than when moose signed.

    Moose - $12 million bonus, 6 year, $30 million.

They were drafted the same year, Johnson is 10 months older.

    GREAT DEAL.

The Dallas game looks like a lock for national TV coverage now.

Smith, Johnson and Owens all on the same field...

Johnson facing his old team, staring across at the guy they replaced him with...

This game has more drama potential even than the Buc games.

It has the potential to be a hypefest that would make Don King gag.

Yep. It's about what he was looking for. Probably more than we were lookng to spend, but probably worth it, if he doesn't go apeshit and get his ass whipped by Smitty. We didn't overpay.

We definitely did. $4 million a year for Keyshawn is too much, but none of us will complain if it wins us a Super Bowl. If it doesn't...

$3.5 million a year, and $5 mil bonus. It could be better, I was hoping for up to a mil less per year, but for what you're getting (assuming you use it right), it's not bad. He fucks up? The proration doesn't look to be too bad, and he should have at least two years in him, minimum.
