NASCAR frowns on racing. It has been that way for about ten years now.

If that chubby little official could have gotten his butt out to the edge of the pit BEFORE the guys had the tire off, Jr wouldn't have been in that position.

Im glad the 2009 season has started. I dont really have a favorite driver but do enjoy getting in race polls. 5 drivers amassed 594 points for me yesterday. Not a bad start and lots of $$ to win weekly and at the end.

jr was never making that pass without going below the yellow line regardless of vickers moving down. oh yeah, nascar doesnt penalize jr for going below the yellow line. no wonder he tried it.

True. I thought it was 'odd' that he admitted to being an inch on the line, but couldn't understand why they penalized him. :whoosh:

Yeah, he should have penalized, I'm just saying if the official had been out there in time, Jr could have backed up before they started working on the car.

I found it amusing he wanted to meet Vickers out back to whip his ass knowing Vickers is the size of a piss ant.
wonder if it had been Ryan Newman or maybe Stewart would he said that? nevermind if it had been Tony he would have been there waiting on him

That's a close call. I wonder if NASCAR has a safety rule stating the official can't take his position on that side of the box until the car comes to a stop. The tire changer can make that call, too. He should've been able to see his tire was on the line.

He and Tony are buddies, that would've been interesting.
