Dabo could have lost every game since he was hired but by beating USC, that certified his job. Seems like a good guy but idk if he is the best pick for Clemson, but next year will tell.

Feels an awful lot like that WVU pick of Stewart after the bowl game. A feel good moment that they hope turns into the right pick.

James Davis will be gone and CJ Spiller will probably opt out for the NFL. Cullen Harper will be gone also I think. Throw in Aaron Kelly and Clemson is losing a lot of their good players. Not to mention a lot recruits de-commited when Tommy got fired.

The fact that Clemson hired Dabo is telling. The recruiting period is critical. Several high profile recruits are teetering from their commitments to Klempson and they need to get someone on board to show stability. They took a shot at Kiffin but it was obvious he wanted the job in Knoxville. They had talks in other areas but not as many as what might be thought. I swear again that Fulmer would have been perfect for the job. As a non Tiger fan, I'm glad they didn't get him. Dabo may turn out to be a steal but he may turn out to be over matched, it's a big time job for a guy with no real experience.

They did not take a shot at Kiffin.

Is this based upon the fact he signed with UT rather than Clemson? Clemson isn't a program that "hot" coaches want to go to anymore

I don't know why you would say that.

From what I heard, feeling was Kiffen is going to be in a messy lawsuit with the Raiders. Plus there are still those who believe his Dad turned Clemson into the NCAA back in the day. I also think the AD really wanted Dabo from the start.

The video of Monte and Danny running off the field together is priceless.
