    Yep...both Clemson and USC were bowl bound. BOTH schools told the teams , "NO!" They also suspended players next season.

    Miami would NEVER do that. They were just living up to their reputation...

    If the schools don't do something more to the biggest contributors to the melee than a one game suspension, then, they get what is coming to them down the road.

    Get what's coming to them down the road? Like what? The ACC made a ruling and miami complied. The NCAA won't do shit. Anthony reddick, the guy swinging the helmet, even got his suspension made longer and is out indefinitely. He's the one ESPN harps on as being so horrible, even though he was the only dumbass out on the field without a helmet on in a full on brawl. Now he's out for the year.

    I still hear ESPN saying how miami needs to go on a mid year death penalty or how they need to purge their team or some other dumbass shit.

    it's goddamn annoying.

    FIU extended the suspensions of all their players and actually kicked the two guys who started the brawl off the team. They have a bye week then play Alabama. My guess is most of those "indefinitely suspended" guys get reinstated in 2 weeks, when no one gives a shit anymore. But who cares, they suck and are winless, which kinda makes it an easier decision. This gives them an excuse and lets them show they are tough on discipline at the same time. Not many top football programs would willingly kill a season, that's true all over the NCAA.

    Reddick is most likely gone for the year, and meriweather should be too, but he's not. The ACC and Sun Belt conferences reviewed at least three different angles of game footage, so I guess they have more info on who did what that the one clip that's been around the internet. Maybe none of his kicks landed or something, I don't know.
