Heh, I got him in an auto draft and dropped him last week.

I'm sure DW still has the skillz but Stewart looks much better right now.

Is DeAngelos problem a new offense? Signing him was a luxury now seemingly a pricy luxury. I know trades in mid season are rare due to cap but is it comPletely out of the norm?

Trading Williams would murder next season's cap. If anyone gets moved, it would be Stewart, which would actually be a good idea if they can get a 2nd or better for him, unless of course Hurney is planning to give him a $40+ million extension as well.

Murder "our" cap. Is there some poison pill if we trade him, not that I want to

When you trade or cut a player, all the remaining signing bonus counts against the next season's cap. If they didn't bring back DW, he'd count $17 million against the 2012 cap.

Damn, I thought the contract as it is was traded. Oh well the line needs to get their heads on straight and open some lanes

It'll be interesting to see what they do with Stewart. If they don't intend to sign him long-term, then trade him for something instead of letting him walk for nothing.

Seems like DeAngelo and Stew are good buds, maybe they can restructure Williams to resign Stewart

new offense is probably a big part of it, and lack of reps.
