What so you think his chance of being a starting staftey are? I'm assuming Martin is gone, and the gook is benched.

He was pretty invisable last year - which isn't a terrible thing at that position. I'm guessing he'll enter camp as the starter but it will be an open competition.

I'd be fine with bringing back Martin for cheap. Not sure why in the blue hell we kept Nakamaura, but I don't expect him to make the final 53. So it will probably be Campbell competing with a draft pick or a FA (maybe Martin).

Probably because we cant afford to be pissing away cap space. We likely saved more be getting him to renegotiate than by cutting him, plus a body for Special teams, where he belongs.

I thought DJ showed some promise late in the season.

Nope, they would have saved more money by cutting Nakamura. They really like him for some reason.

I thought he showed promise. Had some good games last year.

Campbell? I don't remember him having a "good" game. He didn't get picked on like I thought he might, but we also played some crap teams down the stretch. I'm pretty comfortable saying he's not a long-term solution and that we still need to find a FS.

I do remember Campbell making an excellent open field tackle agaisnt Darren McFadden that probably saved a touchdown. I think he also had a good breakup on a deep ball from Brees. That's about it. He never leaped on the screen in a good or bad way.

If we cut Nakamura we have to pay his replacement . He is a good special teams guy, plus he is experienced (lol) depth. And he can still be cut. I like what they did there.

And hoping we got a hit with DJ.
