I think college is becoming a better version of the NFL, which is why I'm more sympathetic towards the paying players argument, although I realize it's a tough needle to thread. I've loved this opening weekend.

Yeah, I guess Hogan is the punt returner, which is fine. They'll probably put DJ or CMC back there if we need a big return.

 

Some psychopath keeps telling me they’re bringing Godwin back. He’s insisting upon it. Like he has some sort of inside line on the team’s plans. I think that they liked Hogan in that spot all along and they were preserving him for week one.

You don’t just willy-nilly cut your starting punt return specialist.

 

Actually, I hope Miami wins just enough games to not justify their tanking. I hope they go 8-8 forever.

 

Godwin tailed off dramatically after a strong start. I don't think he's ready for the job. They'll probably groom him like they did with Byrd.

 

Still not sure what we see in Holyfield, but I'm very happy Bonnafon made it.

 

Pharaoh Cooper is available. And he’s a really good punt returner.
