CUSA is re-entering the atmosphere...

    ...and is about to bread up like the shuttle.

    ESPN and Andy "crean is going to Kansas" Katz are now reporting that the WAC has invited Tulane, UH, and TCU. If they go and the B.E. gets UL and Cincy, CUSA is done.

    Our only hope now is some sort of A-10-CUSA-merger-leftover-emergency parachute.

    Eleven ... 12 ... 14? What's the magic number?

    Houston and TCU would make sense for the WAC anyway. I have a bit of a problem seeing Tulane leave without Southern Miss and Southern Miss without UAB. But then we know that 2 of those schools have some real problems being addressed right now.

    I read somewhere about the BE and CUSA merging teams and coming up with something like Boston College, Cincinnati, Connecticut, East Carolina, Louisville, Memphis, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, South Florida, Syracuse, West Virginia and another school.

    The basketball-only league would consist of Charlotte, DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence, Seton Hall, St. Johns, St. Louis and Villanova.

    That wouldn't be so bad IMO.

    What gets me about all of this shit, is we don't' have a say so,
    so don't' get too excited..........

    Memphis State fans are besides themselves , they will be lucky to stay in cusa. much less go to the be......

    What is so good about the fuckin be anyway??????????

    If we go to the A-10, so be it, without football, really doens't matter
    I still say we come out of this smelling like a rose, and some teams , who think their shit doesn't stink, ie Memphis, UOL, may not

    its gotten so stupid with all of the different "what ifs" that I think I've heard just about everything but "Charlotte will drop D-1 basketball"

    As long as the coaching staff sees a worthwhile goal to achieve whenever all of the dust settles, I will be satsified.

    This afternoon I heard a MSP promo which made it sound like they talked with Judy Rose this morning. Did this really happen and did she say anything of concrete substance?

    All I caught was a statement that sounded like she's assuming that Louisville is gone.

    Not bad at all but I'll hate to see either team lose when they play PC I grew up rooting for the friars.
