While we have had some to underachieve, I wouldn't go as far as to say that pretty much all of them have done so in the past 25 years. That time span includes the 1983 National Championship team which is one of the best cinderella stories ever. 1987 team won the ACC tournament title. 1989 team one the regular season title. Then came the Les Robinson years and we just flat out sucked. Hard to underachieve when you are supposed to suck. I agree with you statement more so with the Herb Sendek years, especially the early to mid ones.

You know, it's kinda funny cause up until our current losing skid we have right now, every player on that team will tell you they love Herb's offensive system. High school kids seem to love it too, NC State has a pretty damn good recruiting class coming in next year who all say they love NC State's offense.

you understand the difference between underachieve and overachieve? I would think you'd realize that a Cinderalla story isn't underachieving. The dude's point was that anytime State is expected to be good, they end up underachieving, NOT UNDERACHIEVING EVERY FRUCKING YEAR FOR 25 YEARS. If you actually went to NCSU, then I'll understand your confusion.

Logic dictates that if you need two points to win and you're driving for the basket then you opt to take the shot instead of dishing it unnecessarily outside for a 3-point shot. Evtimov apparently didn't see it that way. Just a bad choice.

I'm just glad they showed something after the last 2 games. I think they'll be OK.

Actually, I did graduate from NCSU fuck tard. Class of 2002 Business Management. And the dude's original post was that "pretty much every NC State team in the last 25 years has underachieved." And if you read my post, the whole point was that the Cinderalla story thing was an OVERACHIEVING TEAM!! I don't know how to make it any more clear. BTW, I have no idea what your post was meant to say.
