Have you noticed yet how you post thread after thread about who the Cubs are going to pick up, and yet they never do? Remember when the Crawford deal was supposed to be announced some Monday last month?

Collin, if you don't like it, don't respond. I simply talk about the rumors because they are interesting. If you don't have anything to add to the thread please just move on to your next temper tantrum.

By the way, this is a rumor that is on cubs.com.....i think it has some truth to it.

    From ESPN Insider

ESPN.com's Jayson Stark reports that the Orioles' talks with the Cubs about a trade for second baseman Brian Roberts have been put on the back-burner while the O's prioritize talks about Erik Bedard and Miguel Tejada.

There is mutual interest, however, in a deal that would send Roberts to the Cubs for pitcher Sean Gallagher, plus a second player that still needs to be determined. Despite speculation Felix Pie could wind up in that trade, teams that have talked to the Cubs about Pie say he would only be movable in a much bigger deal.

I'm not saying it won't happen, I'm saying that you should temper your fandom and realize that there are about one million rumors this time of year, when maybe 10-15 end up coming true. It's fine to talk about things relating to your favorite team, but don't confuse a rumor with reality.
