Las Vegas - Mostly dull colors and dark light, kind of Gothic.

Miami - Bright light, vibrant colors.

New York - Similar to Vegas, but more mainstream coloring.

I don't know, I was just thinking abuot the use of lighting and color in these shows. Vegas is my favorite as I feel the cast has the most chemistry and the characters are quirky making them more interesting than the spin-offs. It's also the best written from what I have seen.

New York is alright, I haven't really had the chance to watch it much. However, I would watch it regularly if I could. I like the cast, while they fall short of the chemisty in Vegas.

I can't stand David Caruso and the cast of Miami seems pretty dull. I always have liked the black chick though. One of the best bodies in the biz and she is the better actor/actress of that crew. I guess it just has a little Miami Vice thing going on that I can't get with?

Interesting take of the color schemes; I'll have to be aware of that.

I'm not even aware of the Vegas series.

I agree with you on the Miami series. However, I thought/think it's just a exaggertion of understatement, planned and directed that way, rather than poor acting. That black lady does have one killer bod. I first noticed her on a sitcom she was on; I forget the name, had something to do with a radio station(not WKRP, I believe).

I like the NY episodes much better than the Miami ones.

Yeah, that's the show, but not called "News Radio," I don't think....was it? That actress who's one of the main players on ER was Foley's[I believe he's on Will & Grace, occasionally] girlfriend; that was an enjoyable, quirky program.

Vegas is the only one I watch. I like Gary Sinese but I could not get into New York. I don't care much for Miami either. To me both of those shows are more straight forward cop dramas. You never see Grissom chasing down a bad guy with a gun. It is about the evidence and science of it for him and that is different and better.

I watch all three and of the three the original is my favorite, but I hate the direction they have gone in by seperating the crew and making that blond gal out to be kind of a bad guy by whinning all the time about how Grisim is in her business so much. I know the show had to grow, but man she has turned out to be a real Biatch.

Senise(sp?) is great but the brunette hotty is the only reason to watch CSI NY.

Caruso is getting old with his standard glare and stance that he uses on every show. That said its a fine show also, inspight of his short comings.
