    No, it's very, very bad. Having credit cards is a good thing as long as you use them responsibly.

    To my suprise, I didn't have a problem. I've paid off a vehicle, have a 20 percent down payment and no debt.

    Hell, the only reason I ever got a credit card 10 years ago was becuase they wouldn't give me a cell phone without credit history.
