An intelligence guiding creation can answer all of those questions. But that is just a theory, derived from observation and plausibility. If you came across a set of Encyclopedias in the wilderness you would not think it had spontaneously came into being. You would say an intelligence created it. Yet, that is what darwinists claim with DNA everyday without explaining how. Observation would tell you an intelligence created DNA.

    Yes. It's a large hole.

It's not nearly as large as the hole that's going to suck our economy down the crapper eventually if you ignoramousous don't stop this "creationism is science" bullshit.

I'd be satisfied if our teachers would simply teach evolution based upon its current widely lacking evidence. Abandon the things that have been disproven but are still taught like Haeckel and the archeoptryx and be honest about the lack of fossil evidence and the questions that evolution and natural selection don't begin to answer. They can leave a creator out of it, just be honest.

so you don't actually mean intelligent design, you mean creation.

I think at the very least at creation events were set in motion that were entirely planned, at that point, active intervention was not required.

sounds good to me. it'd be great if the science texts kept up with current theory, but that's probably asking a bit much.

and what's the problem with archaeopteryx?

so somewhere in our genes is a universal timer that coordinates mass extinctions and gives rise to whole new classes of animals? and what is the next step? or is it done?
