If you teach something that isn't science, is it still science class?

I'm pretty sure that they still teach gravity, yes.

    Good Lord.

All I can say is I'm overjoyed you're a banker. Or whatever it is as long as it isn't a science teacher.

At least I have a freaking sense of humor left.

So why don't you solve that little gravity/big bang contradiction and get back to me

I'm still stunned at the "so what" attitude towards Faith.

And gravity isn't science but ID is?

Ok, now I am tempted to say something not appropriate.

That is most definitely not what I am saying.

I am saying that there are 2 situations that have something that cannot be explained (maybe yet, maybe forever), yet one is science and one is not.

So far, vp, the only thing you've accomplished in this thread is to momentarily equate ID to dark matter. That may seem like a victory, but when you're shooting to have it taught equally to evolution, all you've done is prove how it falls woefully short of your goal because it isn't science.

And I can differentiate between dark matter and ID too, because dark matter is based on fundamental math and physics principles which have been proven, whereas ID is just spackle.

There's nothing funny about encouraging stupidity.

ID is a great topic for a college level Philosophy elective. It should never, ever be in any science class, proven by the fact that you cannot teach it as part of physics, biology, or any other natural science. There are no methods to teach.
