that's fine with me. of course, we'd probably disagree on the holes. i'm not in favor of teaching bad science just to get more science taught.

Yes. When He says He is flooding the Earth or killing all the first born males, He damn well does it.

It's not bad reading comprehension at all. You've reduced God to a test - yes or no, 0 or 1. If God is a testable yes or no proposition, then there is no such thing as the Christian idea of FAITH, which is the cornerstone of the religion. There is nothing special about it.

There still is no test, and cannot be. Luckily, you cannot kill God (faslify him), despite your desire to.

Please do not attribute things to me that I have not said or assume my motivations. That crap is fine in NOTD, but this place has a different set of rules.

And there is currently no test, but that does not mean that there may not be one in the future.

VP, this isn't a snipe. It's amazing that you think it is. This is the essence of what you're saying. To make ID work, you have to destroy a basic tenant of not only Christianity, but many religions - that of Faith. You have to make a test to falsifiy the supreme being. When you do so, you destroy faith.

Sorry if you're not following the logic, but it's there.

But that is the whole point. It's not.

I started a thread about it in here in fact.
