    You think so? I thought he saw a gun and his police conditioning took over. I thought that was pure social commentary on the ability of such conditioning to overtake your personal inclination to trust...

    But that's just me. I was surprised that he pulled the trigger. They had to shoot that scene from outside of the car because it wouldn't have worked inside - there's that split second where he'd have to have his gun out and the kid still had the statuette in his hand and not pointed threateningly...
