Here's a little more info for ya:

Dave Campo had been with the Dallas Cowboys since 1989 when Jimmy Johnson brought him on board as the Cowboy's secondary coach. He has survived the transition from Johnson to Switzer to Gailey and was promoted to defensive coordinator in 1995.
Campo took over as head coach of the Cowboys after Jerry Jones fired Chan Gailey two days after the playoff loss to the Minnesota Vikings in ‘99.

The 54-year old Campo joined the Cowboys in 1989 after a lengthy stay in college football. A defensive back at Central Connecticut State from 1967-70, Campo made 11 stops during his college coaching career, including Syracuse (1984-86) and Miami (1987-88).

COACHING CAREER: Central Connecticut State (1971-72); Albany State (1973); Bridgeport (1974); Pitt (1975); Washington State (1976); Boise State (1977-79); Oregon State (1980); Weber State (1981-82); Iowa State (1983); Syracuse (1984-86); University of Miami (1987-88); Dallas Cowboys (1989-present).

Good Info... that history could go against him. Especially for the guys that have been there a while.

Think about it, every time they have changed coaches, if he is remotely politically correct, he must go along with the new coaches.

Now he is trying to establish his own deal... I just don't see it working, aside from the Jerky Jones deal too.

He is filler... bye bye Mr. Campo.

Every time that show Hard Knocks is on the one thing that stands out to me is that Campo is a story teller. He has in every show remanissed about something in the past or told a story about one of the players past experiances. Thats about all that has stuck with me that I've seen him do. He has a decent supporting cast with Coslett as the OC that should be interesting.
