    ...explain Leak`s stats?
    His longest rush was 44 yards, yet his total was 6 for 31 yards. His stats also state that he was sacked once for a 5 yard loss. How can his total only be 31? If a qb takes off on a designed qb run and he is tackled behind the line for a loss, does it still count as a sack?

    Sacks count against rushing stats in college, so Leak lost those 6 yards and then had several more designed runs that lost yards while not having any that gained yards.
