Could Charlotte's performance this year hurt their chances with Beasley?

I'm just curious, but I've got to think (1) Bobby Lutz recruited him and he may not be around at season's end, and without a "big" name replacement Beasley who admittedly likes Lutz could go elsewhere and (2) Beasley looked at Charlotte as a school at the top of the mid-majors that could make a push into the high majors. He felt that he would be the key to put the team next to the Dukes and UNCs (his words), but with them struggling as bad as they have its possible he could think "their performance will hurt my own numbers". If the right college coach gets to his ear this could be devastating for the Niners.

Beasley loves assistant Dalonte Hill more than Bobby.

It's one bad season. Who the hell knows with high school kids? I won't get excited until he actually signs.

First of all, Lutz will be around next season. He can't be fired and nobody wants him, so he will be around to mess up next season as well.

Second, the chance that Beasley is going to follow through with his verbal is 60-40 at best so the chance of him never playing here already exist.

Finaly, whats the real difference between this season and some of Bobby's NCAA seasons? If he wins a couple of games he should have won this season Charlotte would be on the bubble again and we would be embarrassed in the first round and go home with our tail tucked. That's Bobby-Ball.

I don't think losing a guy that's only planning on staying one year would be devastating to any program.

True, also it's hard to devastate a .500 ballclub.

Charlotte is going to be scary-bad next season. .500 may be optomistic.
