    In the NFL, the team only gives you one chance--two, if you're lucky. If you don't take advantage of the chance(s) that you get, then you'll get cut. Coop didn't change, so the Panthers did what was in their best interests.

    You're an ass if you think the only reason I hang around this place is because of Coop. Yes, the Panthers picking him in the draft and signing him to the team allowed me to find this group of people. I've said in the past that I became a "Panthers fan" and not just a "Coop Fan" when I saw the team play in Dallas in 2002. I've made some awesome friends off this board and again you're an ass if you think this is going to keep me away from the board and the people I enjoy talking to.

    For all of you others who give a shit, I'm not defending what he did. I didn't when he got arrested for each of the dui's either.You do wrong and you pay for your mistakes. Yes it's upsetting that he's no longer a Panther, but hopefully he'll find another team to play for (and yes I will most probably go see him play there).
