why? he got a DUI to start training camp, think it played a part in the teams decision making? I do

These fucking people can't call a cab? There is NO excuse. NONE. Fuck that asshole, I hope he's gone.

He had one already? Repeat offender? Lock him up.

I'm just thankful nobody got hurt.

Am I the only one that doesn't really give a shit?

I hope we hang on to him. Just because he's a dope fiend doesn't mean he's gonna kill his girlfriend or get shot by his wife.

I can see the Richardsons keeping him were it just a drunk driving charge MAYBE, but drugs as well. I bet he doesn't last the week. CoopsGreatestFan better be looking for another player, this one isn't too bright

I'm sure JR will dump him. But I wish he wouldn't.

He'll get picked up REAL quick.

No. I'm with you. He's just young and young people do stupid shit.

I don't want to see him go either (I'm not defending what he did either time). I'm sure I'll get roasted for that opinion.

The charges (the way I read them) are:

Suspicion of driving under the influence. (if they could prove it wouldn't they have charged it?)

Posession of a controlled substance without a perscription (what was that?)

Driving with a revoked license. (That one he's screwed on)

He knows this team has a history, and he knows there are tight guidelines for off the field. He can be replaced.

The Panthers should cut Jackass Cooper immediately to send yet another message, and then pass out phone numbers to all the local cab companies to the rest of the players. They do all have cell phones, right?

I dunno steve smith almost killed bright and y'all ok with that, this guy is just being a dumb shit and got caught y'all want him gone? If the guy really has a problem and it's carrying over to the field, then the panthers ought to send him up for the cure and see if he can be rehabilitated before cutting him lose. The panthers as an organization tend to ignore these kinds of things until it's too late, it's time to start dealing with them.
