Here's a great lil snack for anytime...you can use a crockpot or do it on the stove (I prefer the crock, doesn't burn to the bottom and easy clean up since I have one of those lift out crocks)

1 large pkg Velveeta cheese (cut into 1" squares for easier melting)
1 lb fried and drained ground saugsage (any strength depending on your tastes)
    1 can rotelle

Mix all together and simmer until melted, serve with nachos. (jalopeno's optional) :xyzthumbs

Penguin...you'd better write that down now - it's the ONLY time I'm sharing that secret ever again!

    Momma's homemade chocolate pie

    1/2 cup of flour
    2 cups of sugar
    one stick of BUTTER (unsalted)
    6 eggs
    two frozen pie shells
8 tablespoons of Hershey's Cocoa Powder
one teaspoon of REAL vanilla extract
    two cups of whole milk
    pinch of salt

Place the pie shells in the oven at 350* until lightly golden.

In a large sauce pan, put the sugar, cocoa, flour, and mix dry. separate the egg yolks and put the whites into a mixing bowl. Put 1/4 cup of sugar into the whites. Add milk and mix with the temperature at med to high until all ingredients are combined. Add BUTTER and vanilla extract. Stir till all lumps are removed. Us a metal spoon as the chocolate attaches to the spoon as it cooks. This should take about 20 minutes to come to a nice thick consistency. Pour equal amounts into the pie shells. Whip egg whites and sugar until light and fluffy. Cover chocolate and bake until golden brown.

    MMMMMMMMM-MMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm

refridgerate for at least 6 hours before serving. Preferrably overnight.

Omit Velveeta and use 8oz package of cream cheese. It's not so yellow and cheesy, but I only fix this for parties because it's so dang bad for you.

Buy a big pack of beef stew chunks.

Put Olive oil in a stock pot and get it hot.
Chop up a clove of garlic and let it simmer a few minutes.
Pour in the beef chunks ( I wash mine first ) and brown them on all sides.

Season with salt, pepper or your choice of seasonings.

If you are leaving or doing it for the next day, this can go in the crock pot.

If staying home, add hot water to cover beef and boil slowly for about 2-3 hours.
It will make a thick gravy usually, but if not you can add cream of mushroom soup. You can also add onions near the end of the cooking if your kids will eat them.
    Serve with rice or noodles.

do you people eat anything besides meat? jeezy-petes. meatpile was onto something with his beans (although the shallots and onions seemed like overkill) but then he threw in the bacon. griminy!
