I have been watching a television show on Discovery called Blaine's Low Carb Cooking. He is a chef that was formally 300+ lbs who is losing weight eating low carb. The thing is he is cooking some damn good looking food. Here is a web link to his recipe web page. These are all the recipes for what he cooked on air and the net carbs for each. fuck all these diets, I eat what I want, when I want, and I'm about Marvin Harrison's size, maybe I'm taller. Maybe I need a high carb diet.

I've got to admit, I have always hated these fad diets (Adkins being number 1 on the list) but since we switched our 13 year old son over to a carb counting diet (he's diabetic) we've noticed that the meals aren't as rough as we thought. We don't buy the pre-packaged meals but with a little planning, you can make a darn good spread with little carbs.

It's not that hard for me. I love salads (spinich especially) and chicken so that is one of my regular meals. Just have to be careful with the dressings. There is some Ginger dressing that is great, very similar to japanese steakhouse dressing. I do miss fruit alot. Surprising because other than Gala Apples I don't eat alot of fruit. I am down 22 lbs since Feb 14 and looking to knock off 17 more to get under 200 for the first time in a long time. My ultimate goal is to get down to 190, my high school graduating weight. Granted that was a lot firmer 190 due to participating in sports
