  1. Touchdown Cavaliers, 35-10, the rout is on at Ericsson Stadium. It has gone from bad to worse for West Virginia. Was a good game until the punt return for UVa for the touchdown, which seemed to suck all the life out of the Mounties. And WVU got a terrible break at the end of the first half when the receiver caught the ball but the referees ruled he was out of bounds. The clock ran out. I'm not so sure he was out of bounds, it was a questionable call but that sort of sums up West Virginia's day to the tee.

  2. Interception UVA, returned to the Mountaineers 10. And there's 8:32 left--IN THE THIRD QUARTER!!!

I expected a close game. Quite frankly, I am very disappointed. It probably calls for a switch to the Eagles-Giants game at 1:30 on Fox.

  3. Or maybe the game was over when Al Groh elected to go for it on 4th down behind 10-7 instead of simply kicking a FG to the tie. They punched it in and scored to go ahead 14-10.

    As I type, it's now 38-10 Cavaliers.

    Unfrigginbelievable.

Cavs are showing they deserved the Gator Bowl.

  4. Oh yeah, did I mention the COSTLY penalty on WVU after Virginia had MISSED A FIELD GOAL that gave the Cavaliers a brand new set of downs. Of course, UVa went on to score a TD.

  5. Mounties cut it to 38-16, but the XP is blocked.

I went tto the game and let me tell you, the Mountaineers fans travel! The place was packed and it had to be at least 2-1 WVU fans to Hoos. Too bad they couldn't deliver on the field as well. WVU got out coached huge. Mixed up reverses and passes well. WVU didn't do anything like I thought.

  7. Yeah Virginia proved on the field it should have been in the Gator Bowl, but the fact only a third of the fans were UVA fans sums up why they didn't deserve it. It's all about business and who should sell the most tickets. UVA fans should be ashamed of themselves--they didn't have as far to come.

Also saw a few Panthers on the sidelines including all three Panther QB's, Brentson Buckner, and Wesley Walls

  9. Hmmmm, I thought NFL road teams traveled Fridays if they're playing Sunday. Guess not. Interesting.
