i heard the same from others. they said kanunu didn't have much dialogue (ala the matrix) so he pulled it off pretty good. his problem is speaking.

and acting.

 

it was an entertaining movie. wasnt great and there were problems but it was entertaining none the less. the hell imagery was interesting

 

this is totally backwards. the movie was visually stunning, decent script (they did try hard to minimalize keanu's lines), etc etc, but keanu was just as cardboard as ever. i was very skeptical about gavin rossdale's part in the film, and laughed out loud the first time he appeared, but i grew to really like him as balthazar. the only real problem i had with the film, besides their choice of lead actor, was it's glaring similarities to The Prophecy; it was a much better film.

I would have watched it if it was on HBO and I was bored- but it wasn't worth going to the theater for.

 

I liked it. I don't get into acting analysis, so if someone is really bad, I'll notice it. I didn't think Reeves was miscast.
