C-USA is now 9th overall, behind the Mountain West and ahead of the WAC. Wow.

I dont see any chance of us getting a NCAA bid. We are 90 today and looking at the scedule, there aren't alot of oppurtunities to get too much higher. The SIU game is now massive (35). Later the UAB (15) and Cincy (9) games will be big, but the rest of CUSA is in the 100's. :(

With our shitty scedule, we will need at least if not more than 20 wins to have a chance for a bid, not the ususal 18-19.

we have 18 regular games left and at least 1 CUSA tourny game, which is 19 games left, IMO we have to go 14-5 to even have a chance at a bid.

go ahead and tell me the sky is falling.

    I agree Metro.

Barry and I were going over our conference schedule and I dont think we can even go 8-8 in conference play. The way this team plays defense, I think we will be lucky to get to 16 or 17 total wins going into the conference tournament.

    I'm already having nightmares.

Bobby will keep "Captain Plavich" in the game against Louisville's press.

IF Rhode Island outrebounded us like that, Whaley and JMax will combine for at least thirty.

Marquette and Louisville should help some on the RPI. Conference RPI is going to suck. Can't get in without going AT LEAST 10-6 in the Conf (if we beat South Ill- which is now huge).

Got to get the A & T's of the world off the freakin' schedule. Play C of C or Wilmington for goodness sake. I find it difficult to beleive that we can't get a home and home with someone like UT, they aren't exactly a "marquee" team. Yes they are in the SEC, but hell they play 13 OOC games and you can't play Tenn-Martin but so many times.

We should not have lost last night and should have beaten GW. Ala we could have won as well. Someone on this team HAS to grow a set of balls and step up at the end of the game when it's crunch time. Plavich doesn't mind taking big shots, I just wish he would smarter about when to launch. FT's are going to be a pain all year long, however, you have to get the ball in a guards hands at the end of the game, in any league. Hell, Phil Jackson subs out for the best player in the NBA at the end of the games because he's a fucking liability.

    Okay, I feel better.

UT wont play us, at least not 1 for 1. Not really trying to argue your point, but you just chose a bad example.

I was in school there when we beat them. It didnt go over real well. (i.e. NC State syndrome).

Didn't Ron Slay pull a "Who are they?" last time we played UT in the tourny?
Jackass. Better question is "Where is he?"

We're losing our automatic two (maybe three) games against Sincy. I'd be targeting them for home and homes. I'd HATE to lose playing them.

    Metro, et al:
I can't believe you called our schedule shitty. We play at Syarcuse, at Alabama, at Rhode Island and at SIU -- what's that? Chopped liver? Our schedule is "better" (we don't get true marquee home games or made-for-TV neutral site games like UC and UL) than anyone in C-USA to this point and we've already won 3 true road games. Playing at ODU isn't half-baked, either. Hell, Marquette is 8-0 at home and 0-2 on the road. They barely win, but they do win.

You guys expect way too much. Go ahead PI and M9H, pile it on. When we don't have enough home games you moan. When we play "buy" games like NCA&T and Delware State just to balance out home and away, you moan about who we play. We have to play Davidson every year and we would be foolish to cancel the Appalachian State series at a 2-for-1.

We're 7-3 and 86th in the RPI and if we beat SIU, we'll jump to around 55-59 in the RPI. Then, we must take care of business against Cincy, Marquette, UAB, UL and SLU at home. It would be nice to win at Memphis, too.

The league RPI si 6th as of today.

Yeah, pretty amazing. The conf RPI ranking is the best since the league's inception and these guys have given up on the season.
