What's Conf. USA record against the ACC the past 10 years? Anybody know where this info would be?

Conference USA has only been in existence for 8 seasons. I think you'd be surprised to say they've held their own with a 20-28 (.417) record against the ACC. There were only two games played between the conferences this season, Clemson defeated Cincinnati and Marquette won over Wake Forest. Note that Charlotte isn't listed often, it seems they don't want to schedule the 49ers, they can only account for 3 of the 48 games and one of those was a NCAA tournament game.

Sorry, I can't give you results or when the games were played but here's the breakdown of ACC records and who they have played (from page 136) of the C-USA Media Guide:
    Clemson - 1-1, Cincinnati
    Duke - 2-1, Cincinnati, DePaul
Florida State - 3-6, DePaul, South Florida, Tulane
Georgia Tech - 4-5, Cincinnati, Louisville, Saint Louis, Tulane
Maryland - 3-0, DePaul, Louisville, Tulane
North Carolina - 7-2, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Louisville, Marquette, Tulane
NC State - 6-2, Charlotte, East Carolina, Houston, Memphis, Tulane
Wake Forest - 2-3, Cincinnati, Louisville, Marquette

The 8 seasons shouldn't matter, most of those teams have been around a lot longer. If all of the teams were just 8 years old then I would see that point. .41% isn't that good when over half your wins are against 2 teams. Throw those out and it looks even a lot worse.

sure! just throw them out. IF THEY ARE IN THE ACC THEN THEY COUNT.

I'll buy your ACC reasoning, now you buy mine. Those "other 7" ACC schools won't schedule C-USA teams on a regular basis. Did you see that Virginia wasn't listed as playing any C-USA teams? This is why Bobby Lutz says he'll go elsewhere to get games, hence playing Indiana and Temple for example and Alabama and Arizona next season.

Slow down there Willy, I happen to pull for several teams outside the ACC, so don't go there.

Damn misread that the first time Bear. Just stating that overall the ACC teams are better. There are two ACC teams that get beat up by C-USA and the rest don't. UNCC had a very good team a few years back, not sure what caused the drop this year for them.

Hey I would be all for playing some of the teams in C-USA. UNC vs. UNCC could become a nice rivalry for in state since UNC has a large fan base in Charlotte.

I just have to give the 49ers fans some smack because they have several fans that post here. :D

Maybe we'd both better see if this can be the first game of the season. It could be UGLY if played last in the year and both squads perform as they have recently. ;)
