I'm thinking of unloading some old comic books. By "unloading" I mean my parents have told me that I need to get them out of their house before they toss them into the creek. So I am now thinking of selling them.

What's the best way of doing this? Shows? Ebay? Offer them to collectors? Piecemail? All at once?

Almost all of them are Marvel titles running from a period of about 1983-1986. Plus some others picked up throughout the years.

Thanks Brain. I plan on making that list sometime in the next month or so - I can't get to my parents' house before then. But I need to inventory EVERYthing I have anyway. They are all in pretty good condition. They're stored upright and in comic bags like you see in shops 'cause I knew I'd be holding on to them for a while. I'm gonna guess most people would be interested in the X-Men, Spiderman, and Daredevil runs. I think those have the most value anyway.

Gotta shitload of 70's Star Wars figures in good condition too if anyone is interested in that.

Well yeah. But I was also 15-17 if you'll check the dates. Once I discovered booze, drugs, and girls it was pretty much all over for the comic books.

Plus it was hard as hell to try and read while I was all liquored up.

nothing personal, but I found girls before the age of 18... to be honest before the age of 15.
