Those were, in fact, two really shitty throws.

What about the one Shockey dropped in the end-zone?

Oh you know that will eat at him through the off season. Had he made those catches, either one there would have been no come back for the Niners IMO

i totally agree. collins almost hit toomer on the sideline when he was forced to throw due to pressure with under a minute to go, it looked like PI to me...

Say what you want about Owens, he's a real stud.

That offense can click, I've seen them get the ball and the lead with over 6 minutes to go in the game and it's over, games ends with a kneel down.

Putt, the throw to Shockey was a good one.

On the other hand, if you can put up 38 earlier, you can get some first downs later. They really kinda couldn't. Part of that is Collins too.

Y2, yeah, if there was going to be a change at OC, the Giants would have to lose. I don't think Fassel necessarily wants Payton out, but Sean might ask out. The Giants could have made the simplification adjustments without shaming Payton.

After 7 years of football, he is the best QB to ever wear a Panther uniform.

If the Niners had completed the 2 point conversion, the scream you heard would've been me letting out the frustration before I hurled a brick at the TV. I would've pushed (it was 3 when I got in), but it sure as hell would've seemed like a big ol' loss after blowing a 35-14 lead. Shoot, I even let the future Mrs. change the channel at that point. I missed the whole Niner comeback. The only reason I saw the last 6 minutes is because my Dad called to ask if I was sweating yet after the Niners cut it to 38-33.
