Dang Wossa...I said the same thing in the "next level" forum.

Robert is a mental giant. He absolutely loves this type of environment. He loves when the pressure is on and he loves to battle the best. His ability to shrug off any negativity and focus on the present is why I will continue to say the pro guys missed the boat.

And if you noticed, Robert was hitting 87-88 consistently (he always could), but realized he was throwing too hard and made his adjustments. I have so much respect and pride for this young man...he makes my heart burst with joy.

Something else came to mind that I think is really cool.

Of all the players participating in the College World Series, there is only 1 pitcher that has thrown a shutout so far...and he happens to be one of TBR's own...not bad for a kid from Charlotte.

I can hardly wait to read what he has to say

To do that AND against a team like Clemson on this stage is really something. My son and I have hung on every pitch, every at bat, every moment and are savoring this. Its a good feeling to know that these are Carolina kids through and through and having played on the same field against some of them brings it even closer to home for him. You have to love what these kids are doing! This is good stuff man!

Georgia is gonna have to score 5 runs at least this game because Mickey Westphal sucks at pitching...

Why do you say the pro guys missed the boat? Wasn't he drafted?

Miami loses a close one to Rice, 3-2. Rice goes to 2-0 in their bracket and gets the day off, along with UNC, tomorrow.

    Tuesday
    Miami faces Oregon State
    Clemson faces Cal State Fullerton

both are elimination games.....should be great baseball.
