Soooooooooo, Notre Dame blows off the Big Ten again (which they shouldn't, but that's anothe rant for another day). Big Ten says 'F**k you, ND . . . Well invite __________

    1) Pittsburgh
    2) UConn- (Geographic Bad fit though . . See BC in the ACC as why this shouldn't happen)
    3) Rutgers (see above . . NYC is not a college town!!!!!!)
    4) Mizzou (hmmmmmmmm, probably . . . Would lose long time rival with Kansas though which is the only bad thing)
    5) Cincinnati (instant rival with Ohio State, fits geographic mold)
    6) Louisville (brings Kentucky TV markets into fold, great hoops and solid football programs)

Lets say, Mizzou joins the BIG TEN . . . That means BIG XII is down to 11, which means . . .

-TCU gets invited to join the conference. Football is pretty good now and they are in a top 10 market (DFW).

So now, this gets the dominos falling again concerning conference affiiliation. Does the SEC go to 15 teams maybe? Hmmmmmmmmmm, I could see Memphis, ECU & (assuming UNC-Charlotte starts football in 2012) UNC-Charlotte. . . .

SEC East-USC, UNC-Charlotte, ECU, Georgia, Florida
SEC Central-Tennessee, Vandy, Memphis, Arkansas, Kentucky
SEC West-Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, Miss. State, Alabama

Yeah, yeah UNC-Charlotte would just be starting football in 2013 . . . Maybe the SEC offers the Niners a 4 year window to get their football program up to FBS speed and they add football in 2017 . . . Let the Niners play a couple of SEC teams each season in the mean time to get their feet wet . . .

Or maybe seeing the need to elevate their football status, BIG EAST invites ECU & UNC-Charlotte into the league. Anyhow, the BIG EAST or SEC would be entering a new TV market (Niners would cover Charlotte & Triad, ECU Raleigh/Eastern NC/Wilmington . . though I'm sure the ACC would be bitching and moaning about it big time !!!!!!). If Louisville bolts for the BIG TEN, then maybe this forces the BIG EAST to bring ECU/UNCC into their conference . . .

The dominos are about to fall again . . . The best thing UNC-Charlotte did was to add football. They will shortly see that this was the best decision that they've ever made :) :) !!!!!!!!!!!

Sooo, ECU and UNCC in the SEC ? :xyxthumbs:

UNCC is going to end up in some D2 league with App and Elon.
ECU is where they should be, in CUSA.

What the hell have you been smoking, no way UNC-C is in any BCS conference & certainly no one in the Triad cares.:yikes:

Considering Charlotte is starting off FCS and won't play a game for another couple of years, you are absolutely BRILLIANT for coming up with that gem.

Rutgers is the choice of the Big 10.

Rutgers joining the BIG 10 would be like BC joining the ACC . . . Georgraphy wise, it doesn't fit!!!!!!! The best fit would be another Midwest/Close to Midwest school; Cincy, Missouri, or Louisville would be the best fit.

NYC is a pro sports market; It doesn't really give a flip about college football (only marginal interest in Rutgers & Syracuse football).
