    I still don't see why Shula is assumed "gone." He lost Prothro last year and still won 10 games. This year...no Bordie Croyle OR Prothro...

    Why don't they give the guy some time?

    exactly...a monkey could have gotten 10 wins last year. Shulas play calling is horrible. he has no clue on the sideline.

    His seat isn't that hot yet. He could still win 9 games in the regular season. After all we've invested in him, we ain't canning him after a nine win season, or even an 8 win one if we should lose Sat. I'm not a TB fan by any means, but CU ain't getting rid of him this year.

    Dave, I agree that coaches have no loyalty. Also, Tommy Bowden isn't nearly as hot a name as he once was. That's part of why I don't think he's leaving Clemson this year. Unless he and Clemson decide to mutually part, Bowden will owe the school a lot of $ if he leaves. Add that to the fact that he hasn't really done anything even remotely stellar during his 7 years at Clemson, and I don't see other schools having a lot of interest in him. Why would a big SEC school want a coach who couldn't even win an ACC championship?

    I'm all for it, but his on field decisions have been ludicrous at best. So says the armchair QB.
