I was always skeptical of Campen. I don't have time to dig up the old posts, but I remember pointing out how specious it was to give him credit for Green Bay's mid-round OL development since they draft linemen every year. Everyone was giving him credit for the handful of hits while ignoring the misses or straight up catastrophic busts. He also had a ton of influence up there right as the McCarthy offense was falling apart. Then he basically washed out of the league before Matt Rhule offered him a job that no one else wanted.



Tepper has become a mark for coaching grifters, which is one of the reasons why I refuse to take this latest hire seriously. Canales has all of the same signs and symptoms. People are giving that guy credit for things that are likely coincidental or above his controlm.
