If Coach K stays another ten years he will surpass all of Dean's records and possibly get close to Wooden.

I think six rings is not out of the question. He could easily have that many now. They should have beaten UConn whe Brand was playing. They had the game last year against UConn and choked at the end (would have beat GT easily), They should have beaten Arkansas during Grant Hill's last year, they really should have beat Louisville when Johnny Dawkins played. I know close does not count but that would have given Coach K seven rings. I can see him getting three more easily if he coaches ten more years.

I do not think he will get to ten to match Wooden but he can get over half way.

If we're going to do that, Dean should have about 15.
:satana: wait, damn he shoulda had that many but only has 2. :banginghe

Really though, all that just shows how hard it is to win it. Coach K should have around 6 or 7, according to somes logic he also choked a few times too. Look at how long you have to be great to get just 2 or 3. It's hard period.

:banginghe You mean you are actually going to give credit to KAHSDsahdgjas for all the championship games he blew?

Winning three and choking in a several other title games puts him right up there with Wooden's 10 in 12 years?

And here I was thinking Thelt was the only brain dead dook fan

    How
bout Roy? The thread was tourney wins. Probably more than a few coaches would like to sniff the championship game. Don't let your hatred for Dook cloud your intelligence.

I don't recall anybody making ridiculous claims about Roy Williams.

But I can see how thats about all you have left to come back with, since it's impossible to defend Thelt's ridiculous statement.

I wasn't arguing the merits of whether Kaksjdhaskjdaskj is a great coach. I was arguing the merits of Thelt's take on equating Kaslkjdsalkjdaskj's LOSSES with Wooden's WINS.
