brane, don't be so fucking combative to the point it makes you look stupid. all they've been shoving down our throats is that international basketball has caught up to the nba. name 15 international players on nba rosters when dean won the gold. nowadays you've probably got at least 4 per team. you have no point with the whole "dean coached role players." no, he didn't. he coached the best college players, who, at the time were better than the international competiton.

    how am i ignorant here?

and when did i say the team is comprised of role players. i named TWO. brane, i don't know if you know this, but most likely they'll carry 12 people on their roster. maybe even 15. two role players does not "make up" a team of 12-15.

Most Carolina fans (with a brain) will say that, while they can't stand K, he is a better coach than Karl. I've never been a Larry Brown fan even though I'm a Carolina fan. This team is good. The great thing is the average age for the starters was something like 22. These stars (Wade, LeBron, Carmello, CP3) don't have ginormous egos or anything.

    look beyond

another thing that i heard mention of a while back which makes alot of sense also.. other than players up in age like bowen.. they have assembled a team with wade, anthony, james, arenas and then role players like bosh.. they can keep coming back time after time.. wont keep building a new team together.. thats another great advantage of this team.. and yes im a duke fan and i love having coach k at the helm but i couldnt see why if roy williams was coach of the team that i wouldnt pull for them.. i hate unc with all my heart but like already been siad.. its the USA for crying out loud and u hate them in competition but u respect their work ethic and their accomplishments

Dean has a NCAA championship ring, he doesn't have an Olympic medal or ring. Coaches do not recieve awards at the Olympics, just the satisfaction of being victorious.

That I flat out did not know. I'd think the coaches would also get medals though. They get them in the other sports don't they?
