Why has no one mentioned this? Of all the off season moves to have taken place, this is the one that will have the greatest impact of them all. It makes the Coyotes instant contendersThe Great One knows hockey more than any person that has ever played the game. I almost feel bad for the other coaches in the league. He led Canada to the Canada cup as a GM. I hope he coaches Canada in the Olympics. This will be good for all of hockey, a huge ratings boost. I don't understand why he doesn't coach the Rangers, it will be weird seeing him with another team?

People are going to remember him as a Ranger. It wasn't a last stop so much as a final destination, just like how O'Neil went to Toronto.

No dude, it was his last stop. He will be remembered more for:

    A--his Cups with the Oilers
    B--breaking records with thge Kings.

Playing in NY was another prime example of why the NHL needed a salary cap--overspending for players.

Some people just don't get it. Thank God they don't work in the sports industry.
