well as of tonight, oakland, seattle, and boston all have identical records. the AL West and AL wild card race are gonna be exciting.

we've got the AL central with the White Sox, Royals, and Twins all within a game and a half of one another.

7 or so teams within 5 games of the NL wild card.

NL Central is tight as well.

man, what a great end of the season this is going to be.

if the Dodgers could have beaten Philly then swept the Mets, we would have a chance. But thats our whole season, "IF"....Attention LA's front office, please spend money to make us better. That is all.

I can't wait for the end of the season, either....but its because of the lack of major leaguers in this motley crue (a.k.a. the 2003 Cincinnati Reds)

"Juan Acevedo, Jimmy Anderson, Jeff Austin, John Bale, Aaron Boone, Russell Branyan, Mark Budzinski, Sean Casey, Juan Castro, Jim Chamblee, Ryan Dempster, Adam Dunn, Seth Etherton, Ryan Freel, Danny Graves, Ken Griffey Jr., Jose Guillen, Josh Hall, Joey Hamilton, Aaron Harang, Jimmy Haynes, Felix Heredia, Tim Hummel, D'Angelo Jimenez, Austin Kearns, Barry Larkin, Brandon Larson, Jason LaRue, Felipe Lopez, Ruben Mateo, Kent Mercker, Josias Manzanillo, Corky Miller, Phil Norton, Ray Olmedo, Wily Mo Pena, Stephen Smitherman, Dernell Stenson, Kelly Stinnett, Reggie Taylor, Scott Randall, Brian Reith, Chris Reitsma, John Riedling, Dan Serafini, Scott Sullivan, Joe Valentine, Todd Van Poppel, Ryan Wagner, Mark Watson, Gabe White, Scott Williamson, Paul Wilson."

86, its been a few weeks since you had a good Reds rant. I know that felt good.

I talked to Eric Little yesterday, he just got back from a 4 day trip in Boston with dad, Grady . Lets hope Boston can win the wild card, its a great 49ers connection.

The fact that in last night's game, "the Reds' starting nine had a total salary of just more than $4 million" should give me lots of ranting leeway.

Hell, the parents of my 12 rec league kids probably come damn close to the same (or more) total salary.

Anyway, yeah, I wouldn't be the least bit disappointed to see Grady's boys make some noise.
