Duke was stung by losses to the NBA. They will be tough but they are a little out-manned. I look for them to finish in the top three in the ACC though.

    I just don't see it

The ACC is just too good up and down this year.

If Kay can get them a fourth place finish with this lineup he will be doing a helluva job.

Duke finishes 4th or worsth this season. The top 3 will be Ga. Tech, Wake and UNC in no particular order. They seemed to be bunched this year in similar groups.

    Group 1
    UNC, Wake, and Ga Tech

    Group 2
Duke, Maryland NC State and FSU

    Group 3
Virginia, Clemson, Miami, and Va. Tech.

Those groups to me look how the overall standings will be. Anyone in group 1 could finish at number 1 in the conference. Anyone in group two could finish at #4 in the conference and so on and so forth.

I meant that Clemson looks a lot better than they have in years past. Duke played an awful game, but I think Clemson could honestly make a push for the NIT which is a huge leap for the Tigers who haven't made the tournament since the days of Jamison, McIntyre, and Wideman in 1998. I really liked their freshman and still think Cliff Hammonds will be a great player in the ACC, and if you give Purnell a couple years, he will have Clemson competing again. Still saying Duke should crush them because they are clemson, but they are a lot more improved than last year. one more win and they match last season's total
