    Ummmmmmmmm, why is Tommy Bowden calling Nick Saban asking him what he saw in his preparation for the game that allowed 'Bama to whoops his ass so bad :rolleyes: :rolleyes: ? ? ? ? As much money as he's getting paid, shouldn't he be asking himself and his coaching staff what the hell happened Sat. night down in the ATL ? ? ? ? It seems to me that as nice as a guy Tommy is, he will never be more than an 8 win a season coach. He doesn't have what it takes to get his team to the next level (consistent threat to win the ACC title) . . . Maybe after 10 years its time for a change.


    Another thought: Why don't the ACC & SEC don't play against each other more during the regular season (outside of UGA & GA Tech)? To me, its too logical that these 2 conferences don't play against each other more. I think UNC vs. UT should be an every year game for obvious reasons (or insert NC State, Wake, or Duke). It would be a reasonable drive for most games. A battle of the Death Valleys (LSU vs. Clemson) would be very interesting (on paper at least, though I'm sure LSU would win easily).

    Why dont they play each year?

    Because the SEC already has one built in gimme every year against 1AA opponents. They don't want to hurt their rpi by playing another one.
