I would vote for the red sox, since that is where he started and where he got most of his notariety.

That's what I'm thinking too. They didn't exactly part on good terms, though.

I can promise you it would be the most memorable induction speech ever. We could even set an o/u on the number of f-bombs I could get in before they cut off my mike.

That said - he's going in as a Sock. He's one of the people that MLB changed the rule for I think. I know Boggs was one.

doesn't the player have the choice? If so, why would he go in as a Red Sock? Not being confrontational, but when he left for TOR, he HATED Boston. It would be the ultimate pissoff to go in as a yankee

Players don't have a choice anymore because of guys putting which logo they would use in their contract (Boggs) and guys leaving town with a bad taste in their mouths and tweaking the team (Clemens).

MLB decides now what logo the player will have on his hat. And considering that 192 of his 350 or so wins came with them - as well as both his 20 strikeout games.

I also think it's kind of that as bad as he hated the front office (After the Mrs. Yawkey died (who he GREATLY respected) he got treated like shit by the FO) when he left that he's going to have to put that cap on. He has said he won't do it, but we'll see.

It was Dan Duquette's issue...no question about that.
