Clausen's value

I think he's more important to the team than people think. Cam is going to have some occasional rough games. From a morale standpoint, I think he needs to be able look back at the sidelines and see Clausen standing there in street clothes. It reinforces to Cam that he is still the alpha bull, the man who swooped in and took over Jimmy's life and his future. That's a powerful aphrodisiac to a man.

I'm not saying we should give Clausen a raise, but I'd like him to remain in his role as the subservient, non-active QB.

 

Cam should just fuck Clausen's girlfriend, burn down his house and steal his dog while he's at it.

i agree with what md said in a previous thread. he was jesting and i am too, i guess, since it would never happen. cut clausen and let armanti be your 3rd. that saves us 300,000+ this year and the app state guys will still feel good that armanti is on the team. he will never dress out though and if we ever need a 3rd quarterback our year is shot all to hell anyway.

dang, now that i think about it, with the 3rd quarterback rule change last year this makes a little more sense. armanti could dress and play whenever they wanted him to. does this give him more value?
