Clarett fuming over funeral

    This is a crappy situation for the NCAA (as usual) and Ohio St. The NCAA needs to learn to make exceptions to rules. Could this make Clarett declare for the draft?

    they weren't allowed per NCAA rules to buy him a ticket...however if he had bought his own, they could have reimbursed him for it. now that makes sense.:rolleyes:

    And exactly WHY should the NCAA pay for him to fly home to attend a funeral of "a friend" (NOTE: not a family member)?

    Not saying it's not mportant to him, but does the NCAA pay for anyone or everone to fly anywhere to attend a funeral for "friends'? Did this person die saving somebody, or was his 'friend' a thug who got shot over drug territory?
    Does Clarett think he's THAT damn good, he can bitch about it like this, diss his school and the bowl game he has the PRIVILAGE to play in? Randy Ratio.
    He wasn't told he couldn't go, just that they wouldn't buy a ticket.
    My college wouldn't pay for me to fly home for a dead relative's funeral, much less a friend. In fact they charged me 45K to ATTEND college. I didn't get any scholarship for getting my ass beat up, starting for their prized rugby team they sold tix to.

    And IF his heads so 'messed up' about it, damn if I would want him to play for me in the NFL. His head's gonna really be messed up out in the real world.

    While that may be a stupid rule, it's still a FUCKIN RULE, dammit.
    Doesn't anybody follow rules, or is there ALWAYS fucklin exceptions?
    Why have rules, laws, or any damn thing else.
    Anarchy, I say, hell we're halfway there now.

    Why? Because he was away from home representing his school and the NCAA. Clarett is about to make his school/conference/NCAA around $13 million.

    Clarrett is about to be disiplined for his public comments. Don't be shocked if he doesn't start or even play in the Feista.
    He'll probably come out now...big mistake if he does!

    Clarette' only a freshman and by rule can't declare eligable for the draft. He has to play two season's of college ball
